Internship opportunities are available at the Gorée Institute. We understand the importance of internship experiences to developing human capacity and value of practical experience provided by such opportunities.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss with individuals and institutions such as Universities that are interested in structuring placements that are mutually beneficial.

Please note that internships at the Gorée institute are unpaid.

Sabbatical and Artist Residencies

At Gorée we pride ourselves with the opportunity to offer accommodation in the beautiful and tranquil setting of a World heritage site like Gorée Island. Our residencies provide high quality accommodation on the Island.

Combining this resource with our aim to support the development of human capacity and our focus on knowledge generation and reflection, Gorée Institute provides space and opportunities for artistic residencies and sabbaticals.

We are flexible about these arrangements and happy to further discuss ideas with individuals and educational establishments.
