CONFERENCE ROOMS AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT
The Teral Department provides a wide range of services, either directly or through selected partner organisations. Faithful to the standards of renowned conference centres, the
Gorée Institute has an entire infrastructure set up to meet your needs. For meetings of up to 70 people, our team can help you organise your conference successfully.
Our conference rooms
Based on the clients' criteria, we schedule conference meeting rooms and arrange for general sessions and breakaway meeting rooms. Decorated in the Gorée spirit, our meeting rooms offer the necessary equipment and comfort.
The Malolo conference room is fully air conditioned and equipped, including flip charts, paper boards, markers,
a giant electronic screen, an overhead and video projector,
a television, and a simultaneous interpretation booth. The main conference room has a capacity of up to 70 people. The small meeting rooms have a capacity of roughly 8 -15 people.

Our Logistics
Multi-Media Centre:
This is a space with a resource centre incorporated
into it (Publications on politics, economics, gender, development studies, human rights etc). It is also equipped with seven computers, an excellent and user-friendly training facility and a well-stocked CD Rom library. Users of the centre
may access services such as internet, e-mail and very soon video conferencing facilities.

Translation and Interpretation Facilities:
We sub-contract interpreters of UN standards and negotiate the honorarium.
Audio Visual and Conference Room Equipment:
We have reliable and adaptable equipment. Prior to arrival, we ensure the arrangement of the room and equipment settings. The conference department proposes directly, or through
selected partners, a broad range of services:

Complementary on demand (subjet to availability):
Television, video recorder, microphone, overhead and slide projector, white boards, electronic boards, video projector, big screens, sound system, printer, photocopier, cable extensions, translation equipment and mineral water.
- All basic materials,
including paper, note books, flip charts, easels,
and markers are provided
Other Services Include:
- Internet connection
- The provision of standard audiovisual equipment and the video and audio taping of events
- Hostess services
- A competent and responsable staff
- Documentation and Administrative support : We take care of photocopying, assist with the production and compiling (binding, etc) of information and training materials and its distribution to clients. We also provide program support services i.e.: fax services, electronic mail, typing of documents, etc.
- Security services : Provided to you for VIP guests upon request
- Press/Media: We coordinate the logistics for press conferences and media coverage
- Entertainment : We provide guided tours of the different tourist sites on the island, which we customise to our clients' satisfaction

Travel Services and coordination of all transportation needs,
including visas and vaccinations
Gorée Institute's Teral department works in close collaboration with local tour operators for arranging flights for delegates. The dispatching of plane tickets is
carried out via PTA or DHL. Clients can benefit from our excellent relations with major local travel agents. Our service involves the registration and confirmation of participants, determining the best routings, negotiating the most advantageous rates, welcoming at the airport with buses or other kind of transportation where necessary, including customs clearance of conference documents, materials, etc.
Our excellent services also include a detailed database of necessary visa and vaccination requirements for Senegal available to participants prior to their trip.
