The Gorée Institute is committed to being at the forefront of the production of knowledge about Africa.
We regularly bring together groups of researchers, decision-makers, artists and activists to examine thematic issues of importance to the African continent.

Through its Research and Documentation Centre,
the Gorée Institute will
respond to the challenge of knowledge diffusion and dissemination. It is still difficult for most Africans to access traditionally
disseminated media. The
Goree Institute Research and Documentation Centre is dedicated to multiplying not only the forms but also the types of knowledge outlets.
