TERAL CONFERENCE & SABBATICAL FACILITIES

 

Teral is the mechanism through which the Gorée Institute is able to generate its own funds. Its strategic objective is to increase the self-reliance of our proper organisation. Its activities have been designed to achieve three basic goals:

• Providing a measure of financial security and stability by making substantial contributions to our recurrent and operational costs

• Building alliances and networks with other African organisations and institutions in the private and public sectors as a means of promoting the maximum amount of synergy and coordination between initiatives on the continent

• Identifying and consolidating relations with existing and potential partner organisations and donors in accordance with our commitment to international and regional collaborative initiatives

 

Teral generates its funds essentially by organizing conferences and renting out our conference facilities on Gorée Island .
